Hassan has a first class master's degree in physics from the University of Southampton, gaining a strong technical background in thermodynamics, waves, optics, and scientific instruments with projects involving the study of gravitational wave detectors and neutrino detectors.

Hassan first joined Openshaw & Co in 2022 on an internship and has now joined us full time whilst he undertakes his patent attorney examinations. To date, Hassan is building his experience and providing a valuable contribution prosecuting patent applications in the fields of aerospace, mechanical engineering, and energy-related technologies to both the UK Intellectual Property Office and European Patent Office.
